How do I import questions from old RFPs?
We don't want you to have to reinvent the wheel now that you're using Vendorful. So if you want to leverage questions from RFPs that you've issued in the past, by all means, do so! You can certainly type in the questions all over again, but that's probably not the best use of your time. Instead, you might consider two other options.
- Import an Excel file
- Copy and Paste from previous RFPs
Importing from an Excel file is easy, but there's a caveat. The rows and columns need to be structured in a particular way. Don't worry; we provide a template for you.
If your Excel file isn't formatted correctly or you're working off a file in a different format, e.g. PDF, docx, txt, etc., then we recommend you use our bulk copy-and-paste option. Simply select the questions you want, click copy (Ctrl-C on Windows and Apple-C on OS X), and then paste it into the text box. Vendorful will automatically detect the line breaks and split the questions into their own fields. Take a look below to see how this works.
