Why can’t I assign a task to a colleague?
Tasks are very useful in the RFP response process. They allow you to assign particular questions to a colleague who has specific expertise to share. In addition, you can assign a due date for the task. However, if you haven’t added the colleague to participate in the RFP response, he or she won’t show up on the task drop-down list.
To remedy this, click on the “Team Members” workflow step and add the colleague in question. When you next try to assign the task, you will see the name on the drop-down list.
